Bali Safari & Marine Park Is Much Better Than What We Expected

Everyone who's going to Bali must have known how popular is Bali Safari and Marine Park to both the locals as well as the tourists.

We were there on a weekday and oh boy how crowded still the place is which shows how popular they are. We can't imagine being there on a weekend.

As usual, we booked our tickets using our favorite provider Klook which provides easy and convenient and cheaper access to the site.

With the King of the Jungle

Taking a safari jeep

We were treated to an animals show at the very first start which we managed to get a good seat.

The show lasted for about 20 minutes which they introduced various animals to the spectators including the Orang Utan, the flying hornbill, ducks, snakes and various other small animals.

After the show, we proceeded to our 2nd show of the day immediately after that for the Hari Mau tiger show.

This is our 2nd time watching the tiger show after our first encounter in Bogor Safari.

I thought the show was decent and the highlight has got to be when the tiger jumped onto the coconut tree aweing the spectators with a loud woah... Well we know big cats can climb a tree that high but seeing it in person makes it better awesomeness.

After the tiger show, there was an elephant show lined up but we skipped it as we've seen a few times in Thailand so we just took a commemorate photo with the big animal.

We also passed by the komodo dragon on the way and had a few photos of them upclose.

It was time for lunch but thought we'd get on the safari journey before that which was one of the highlight of the trip mainly because we'll it was a journey to the safari Africa continent.

After going through the safari journey, we settled in for lunch at the Uma Restaurant which was included in the package.

We were glad when we were directed to an air conditioner room with a buffet spread at our disposal.

After lunch, we went to explore the fresh aquarium and also took the jungle cruise which was another out of the common experience.

After the jungle cruise, it was time for our final event of the day and that is to head down to the theater to catch the Bali Agung show which has rave reviews all over it and it didn't disappoint.

It was a love story about the King who fell in love with a Chinese lady but has a good twist to it at the end because there was a third party involved.

The story also props many live animals who joined the show.

Overall I think it is a good place to let the kids have an all day out activities in a safari park which boasts many animals that they can see interact and recognize.

Ill give it a thumbs up recommendation.

First Hand Experience At Farm In The City

Farm in the City was another hands on experience we were looking forward to with the animals.

I wanted the kids to get exposed to most animal farms they read on the book so I decide to bring them over here.

The farm was far oh boy depending on where you stayed. If you are like us who stayed nearer to the city center of klcc or Bukit Bintang, then this will take around 45 minutes to get by without traffic.

We reached the farm at around 9.30 and took a few photos first at the front before going in.

We proceeded to exchange our pre-booked Klook tickets at the counter and saw a mother hen was in the midst of laying eggs!

There were your typical farm animals that greeted us at the entrance. Chicken, horses, deers, goats.

First off is the land of the giant turtle kingdom, where we're each given a strand of vegetables to feed the turtles.

The boys have fun too feeding and touching the shell of the turtles, and to have finally see them in person.

Next up is feeding the deers and alpacas with the carrots and some other hags that we bought.

They were huge and quite aggressive in wanting the food so the kids got a bit frighten off.

Next up we have the birds aviary which is pretty similar to the bird park we went to just 2 days ago.

We were able to feed off the birds who came right at us with foods at our hands.

It was a smaller compound with some birds and a peacock.

The kids were happy to see the rabbits and Guinea pigs because it was something to their size at last.

We were given each a small portion of vegetables to feed them and also have the opportunity to carry them by our side.

The boys had a good feel of the rabbit touch the very first time in their lives.

There were also some other animals that we encounter such as hedgehog, iguana, snake, chicks and owl.

Overall, this is a good place for the kids to get to know some of the animals farm better and there are many roaming and enclosed animals on the farms that you weren't expecting.

We gave it a good thumbs up rating despite the heat weather.
